In Vitro

Anti-Mouse CD86/B7-2 Antibody (GL-1) (7 days) induces immunomodulatory cells production in splenocytes[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

In Vivo

Anti-Mouse CD86/B7-2 Antibody (GL-1) (100 μg, i.p., a single dose) suppresses the development of IL-2-secreting cells and enhances TNF-α secretion in experimental allergic encephalomyelitis mice models[2].
Anti-Mouse CD86/B7-2 Antibody (GL-1) (400 μg, i.p., every other day for 4 times) alleviates inflammation in ovalbumin-induced allergic pulmonary inflammation mice models[3].
Anti-Mouse CD86/B7-2 Antibody (GL-1) (200 μg, i.p., a single dose) prolongs survival in cardiac allografts mice models[4].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Animal Model: Ovalbumin-induced allergic pulmonary inflammation mice models[3]
Dosage: 400 μg
Administration: Intraperitoneally injection (the first doses via tail vein), every other day for 4 times
Result: Decreased expression of CD25 on CD4+ T cells.
Decreased allergen-induced AHR and the expansion of eosinophil subset in the BAL.
Showed slightly attenuated inflammation.
Animal Model: Cardiac allografts mice models[4]
Dosage: 200 μg
Administration: Intraperitoneally injection
Result: Led to more than 2 months allograft survival in all mice.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
