Background	Glutamate Dehydrogenase 1 is a mitochondrial glutamate dehydrogenase that catalyzes the conversion of L-glutamate into alpha-ketoglutarate. It plays a key role in glutamine anaplerosis by producing alpha-ketoglutarate, a crucial intermediate in the tricarboxylic acid cycle. It is also involved in insulin homeostasis. By similarity, it may influence learning and memory processes by enhancing the turnover of the excitatory neurotransmitter glutamate.

Goat Anti-Mouse/Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (HY-P8004/HY-P8001, 1/10,000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
