In Vitro

The antibody framework is stable, specific and adaptable, and has the ability to bind both antigens and endogenous immune receptors. Monoclonal antibodies have several derivatives, including bispecific antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and antibody fragments, and have significant effects in fields such as immunology and oncology. When designing inhibitory antibodies, considerations include identification of antigen-specific variable regions, choice of expression system, use of multispecific formats, and antibody derivatives based on fragmentation, oligomerization, or conjugation with other functional moieties[1].

In Vivo

Anti-Mouse CD122/IL-2Rβ Antibody (5H4) (100 μg, i.p., every 3 days) restores tumor-specific CD8+ T cells activity and decreases tumor burden in hepatocellular carcinoma mice[1].
Anti-Mouse CD122/IL-2Rβ Antibody (5H4) (100 μg/mouse, i.p., at days 7, 9, 12, 14 and 16) reduces CD8+CD122+ T cell population in B6 mice[2].
Anti-Mouse CD122/IL-2Rβ Antibody (5H4) (100 μg/mouse, i.p., every 2-3 days for 5 times) suppresses tumor growth and prolongs survival companied with tumor vaccine in B16-OVA tumor mice models[2].

Animal Model: B16-OVA tumor mice models[1]
Dosage: 100 μg/mouse, companied with tumor vaccine
Administration: Intraperitoneally injection, every 2-3 days for 5 times
Result: Inhibited tumor growth with 10% long-term survival.
Reduced the frequency of G-MDSCs.
Increased the dual IFNγ/TNFα production from effector CD8+ TILs.
Enhanced the OVA-tetramer-specific CD8+CD44+ memory T cells in the tumors.
Reduced the frequency of CD4+ Tregs.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
