1. GPCR/G Protein Metabolic Enzyme/Protease
  2. Guanylate Cyclase Endogenous Metabolite
  3. RIG 200

RIG 200 is an S-nitrosothiol nitric oxide (NO) donor. RIG 200 releases NO through decomposition, activating guanylate cyclase (sGCM) in vascular smooth muscle cells, increasing cGMP levels, and leading to vasodilation. RIG 200 significantly inhibits Collagen (HY-NP003)-induced platelet aggregation in platelet-rich plasma (PRP). RIG 200 may be used in research on coronary artery bypass grafting.

Description

RIG 200 is an S-nitrosothiol nitric oxide (NO) donor. RIG 200 releases NO through decomposition, activating guanylate cyclase (sGCM) in vascular smooth muscle cells, increasing cGMP levels, and leading to vasodilation. RIG 200 significantly inhibits Collagen (HY-NP003)-induced platelet aggregation in platelet-rich plasma (PRP). RIG 200 may be used in research on coronary artery bypass grafting[1][2][3].

In Vitro

RIG 200 (4-100 μM) inhibits platelet aggregation induced by Collagen with an IC₅₀ of 0.8 μM in platelet-rich plasma (PRP) but is impossible to inhibit platelet aggregation in whole blood (WB)[1].
RIG 200 (10 μM) significantly increases the cGMP level of platelets in PRP[1].
RIG 200 (0.01-10 μM, 30 min) continuously inhibits the contraction effect of isolated vascular rings, and its dilating effect can significantly persist after elution[2].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
