NRG1 Protein binding to integrins and subsequent ternary complex formation with integrins and ERRB3 are essential for NRG1-ERBB signaling (By similarity). It induces the phosphorylation and activation of MAPK3/ERK1, MAPK1/ERK2 and AKT1, and ligand-dependent ERBB4 endocytosis is essential for the NRG1-mediated activation of these kinases in neuronssup>[1]^[2].

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA.Immobilized canine NRG1 at 10 μg/mL (100 μl/well) can bind human ErbB4-Fc, The EC₅₀ of human ErbB4-Fc is 0.017-0.43 μg/mL.
