R24 is a type of flavonoid derivative. R24 exhibits strong anti-angiogenic and anti-proliferative effects. R24 induces cell apoptosis and promotes the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS). R24 can be used for the study of cancers such as lung cancer and colorectal cancer[1].

In Vitro

R24 inhibits A549, AsPC-1, HCT-116, and PC-3 cell lines with IC50s of 3.44, 3.59, 1.22, and 11.83 μM, respectively[1].
R24 (2.5 μM, 48 h) induces A549 cells apoptosis and increases cell accumulation in the sub-G1 phase[1].
R24 (2.5-10 μM, 30 min) promotes intracellular ROS production in a dose-dependent manner in A549 cells[1].
