TrkB Antibody (YA026) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to TrkB.

NTRK2 is a receptor tyrosine kinase involved in the development and maturation of the central and peripheral nervous systems by regulating neuron survival, proliferation, migration, differentiation, synapse formation, and plasticity (By similarity). It serves as a receptor for BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) and NTF4 (neurotrophin-4), and can also bind NTF3 (neurotrophin-3), though with lower activation efficiency, while still mediating neuron survival via NTRK2. Ligand binding induces NTRK2 homodimerization, autophosphorylation, and activation, leading to the recruitment and phosphorylation of downstream effectors such as SHC1, FRS2, SH2B1, SH2B2, and PLCG1, which regulate multiple signaling cascades. For instance, through SHC1, FRS2, SH2B1, and SH2B2, it activates the GRB2-Ras-MAPK pathway to control neuronal differentiation and neurite outgrowth. The same effectors also regulate the Ras-PI3K-AKT1 pathway, primarily influencing cell growth and survival. Additionally, PLCG1-mediated protein kinase C pathways modulate synaptic plasticity, contributing to learning and memory by regulating short-term synaptic function and long-term potentiation. PLCG1 further activates NF-Kappa-B, promoting the transcription of cell survival genes and suppressing anoikis. NTRK2 may also participate in neutrophin-dependent calcium signaling in glial cells, facilitating communication between neurons and glia.
