Description	SOX10 Antibody (YA4110) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to SOX10. It can be applicated for IHC-P, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	SOX10 is a transcription factor that plays a central role in developing and mature glia (By similarity). It specifically activates the expression of myelin genes, such as DUSP15 and MYRF, during oligodendrocyte (OL) maturation, thereby playing a key role in oligodendrocyte maturation and CNS myelination (By similarity). Once induced, MYRF cooperates with SOX10 to implement the myelination program (By similarity). It acts as a transcriptional activator of MITF, synergistically with PAX3 (PubMed:21965087). Additionally, it transcriptionally activates MBP by binding to the gene promoter (By similarity).
