RASSF1 Antibody (YA5156) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to RASSF1. It can be applicated for WB assays, in the background of human.

RASSF1 is a potential tumor suppressor that plays a pivotal role in death receptor-dependent apoptosis. It mediates the activation of STK3/MST2 and STK4/MST1 during Fas-induced apoptosis by preventing their dephosphorylation. When associated with MOAP1, RASSF1 promotes BAX conformational change and mitochondrial translocation in response to TNF and TNFSF10 stimulation. Isoform A interacts with CDC20 (an APC complex activator) to inhibit APC activity and mitotic progression. This isoform also suppresses proliferation by negatively regulating G1/S-phase transition via modulating cyclin D1 accumulation, while isoform C remains functionally uncharacterized. During DNA damage response, isoform A facilitates TP53 activation by disrupting MDM2-DAXX-USP7 interactions to promote MDM2 self-ubiquitination.
