Description	PTF1A Antibody (YA1707) is a rabbit-derived non-conjugated IgG antibody (Clone NO.: YA1707), targeting PTF1A, with a predicted molecular weight of 35 kDa (observed band size: 48 kDa). PTF1A Antibody (YA1707) can be used for WB, IP experiment in human, rat background.
Background	PTF1A is a transcription factor implicated in cell fate determination in various organs. It binds to the E-box consensus sequence 5'-CANNTG-3' and plays a role in early and late pancreas development and differentiation, determining whether cells continue towards pancreatic organogenesis or revert to duodenal fates. Additionally, PTF1A may be involved in maintaining exocrine pancreas-specific gene expression, including ELA1 and amylase, and is essential for the formation of pancreatic acinar and ductal cells. It also plays an important role in cerebellar development. During retinal development, PTF1A is directly regulated by FOXN4 and RORC, with the FOXN4-PTF1A pathway central to directing retinal progenitor differentiation towards horizontal and amacrine cell fates. by similar content includes: PTF1A binding to E-box sequences, involvement in pancreas development and differentiation, maintenance of exocrine pancreas gene expression, and roles in cerebellar and retinal development.
