PSAP Antibody (YA2683) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to PSAP.

The related gene encodes a highly conserved preproprotein that is proteolytically processed to related generate four main cleavage products including saposins A, B, C, and D. Each domain of the precursor protein is approximately 80 amino acid residues long with nearly identical placement of cysteine residues and glycosylation sites. Saposins A-D localize primarily to the lysosomal compartment where they facilitate the catabolism of glycosphingolipids with short oligosaccharide groups. The precursor protein exists both as a secretory protein and as an integral membrane protein and has neurotrophic activities. Mutations in The related gene have been associated with Gaucher disease and metachromatic leukodystrophy. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, at least one of which encodes an isoform that is proteolytically processed.

  Western blot analysis was performed on extracts from Hela (lane 1, 15 μg), PC-3 (lane 2, 15 μg), HepG2 (lane 3, 15 μg), A431 (lane 4, 15 μg), MCF-7 (lane 5, 15 μg), and 293 (lane 6, 15 μg) using PSAP Rabbit mAb.Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight.The primary antibody (1:4000 dilution) and the loading control antibody (beta-Actin, HY-P83730, 1:20000 dilution) were incubated in 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 1 hour at 37°C.Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1:20000 dilution) was then applied for 40 minutes at 37°C.
