PAX6 Antibody (YA5009) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to Pax-6. It can be applicated for WB, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

PAX6 is a transcription factor with critical roles in the development of the eye, nose, central nervous system, and pancreas. It is required for the differentiation of pancreatic islet alpha cells (by similarity). PAX6 competes with PAX4 in binding to a common element in the glucagon, insulin, and somatostatin promoters. It regulates the specification of ventral neuron subtypes by establishing proper progenitor domains (by similarity) and acts as a transcriptional repressor of NFATC1-mediated gene expression (by similarity).
