MRP1 Antibody (YA7186) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to MRP1.

MRP1 mediates the export of organic anions and drugs from the cytoplasm. It facilitates ATP-dependent transport of glutathione and its conjugates, leukotriene C4, estradiol-17-beta-o-glucuronide, methotrexate, antiviral drugs, and other xenobiotics. Additionally, MRP1 confers resistance to anticancer drugs by reducing intracellular drug accumulation and enabling ATP- and GSH-dependent drug efflux. It hydrolyzes ATP with low efficiency and independently catalyzes the export of sphingosine 1-phosphate from mast cells without degranulation. By exporting leukotriene C4 from synthesizing cells, MRP1 contributes to inflammatory responses (by similarity). Furthermore, it mediates ATP-dependent, GSH-independent cyclic GMP-AMP (cGAMP) export, thereby negatively regulating the cGAS-STING pathway by limiting intracellular cGAMP levels. In lymphoid tissues and stromal compartments, MRP1 exports S-geranylgeranyl-glutathione (GGG), working with GGT5 to establish GGG gradients that position P2RY8-positive lymphocytes in germinal centers of lymphoid follicles and restrict their chemotactic migration from blood vessels to bone marrow parenchyma (by similarity). In polarized epithelial cells, MRP1 mediates the basolateral export of GSH-conjugated R- and S-prostaglandin A2 diastereomers.
