KARS Antibody (YA4958) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to KARS.

LysRS is a bifunctional enzyme that primarily catalyzes the specific attachment of an amino acid (AA) to its cognate tRNA in a two-step reaction: the AA is first activated by ATP to form AA-AMP, then transferred to the tRNA acceptor end (by similar). When secreted extracellularly, it acts as a signaling molecule inducing immune responses through monocyte/macrophage activation (by similar). Additionally, LysRS synthesizes the signaling molecule diadenosine tetraphosphate (Ap4A), disrupting the HINT1-MITF complex and activating MITF transcriptional activity (by similar). During microbial infection, LysRS interacts with HIV-1 GAG protein to facilitate selective packaging of tRNA(3)(Lys), the primer for reverse transcription initiation.
