Description	Glucose-6-phosphate isomerase Antibody (YA3675) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to Glucose-6-phosphate isomerase. It can be applicated for IHC-P, ICC/IF, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	GPI is an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of glucose-6-phosphate to fructose-6-phosphate in the cytoplasm, representing the second step in glycolysis and the reverse reaction during gluconeogenesis. Beyond its role as a glycolytic enzyme, GPI also functions as a secreted cytokine: it acts as an angiogenic factor (AMF) that stimulates endothelial cell motility (by similar). Additionally, GPI serves as a neurotrophic factor, neuroleukin, for spinal and sensory neurons (by similar). It is secreted by lectin-stimulated T-cells and induces immunoglobulin secretion.
