DDX1 Antibody (YA4396) is a Mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 monoclonal antibody, targeting to DDX1.

DDX1 is an ATP-dependent RNA helicase capable of unwinding both RNA-RNA and RNA-DNA duplexes. It exhibits 5' single-stranded RNA overhang nuclease activity and ATPase activity on various RNA (but not DNA) polynucleotides. It may play a role in RNA clearance at DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs), facilitating template-guided repair of transcriptionally active genomic regions. Acting as a coactivator with RELA, it enhances NF-kappa-B-mediated transcriptional activation. It positively regulates cyclin CCND2 expression by binding to its promoter region and associates with chromatin at the NF-kappa-B promoter via RELA interaction. It binds poly(A) RNA and may participate in 3'-end cleavage and polyadenylation of pre-mRNAs. As part of the tRNA-splicing ligase complex, it promotes RTCB guanylylation (a key step in tRNA ligation) alongside archease (ZBTB8OS). It is a component of a multi-helicase-TICAM1 complex that senses viral dsRNA, triggering antiviral responses (including pro-inflammatory cytokine induction) via TICAM1. It specifically binds (via its helicase ATP-binding domain) to short and long poly(I:C) dsRNA (by similarity). In microbial infections, it is required for HIV-1 Rev function and the replication of HIV-1 (binding HIV-1 mRNA RRE sequences) and coronavirus IBV.

  Immunocytochemistry analysis of NIH3T3 cells labeling DDX1 with DDX1 Antibody (HY-P84699) at 1/50 dilution. Cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde for 15 minutes at room temperature, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 for 10 minutes at room temperature, then blocked with QuickBlock™ Blocking Buffer for Immunol Staining for 10 min at room temperature. Cells were then incubated with DDX1 Antibody (HY-P84699)at 1/50 dilution in QuickBlock™ Blocking Buffer for Immunol Staining at 4 ℃. Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L（HY-P8005,Green) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution. PBS instead of the primary antibody was used as the secondary antibody only control. The Nuclear counterstain was DAPI (Blue).
