CRM1 Antibody (YA1554) is a rabbit-derived non-conjugated IgG antibody (Clone NO.: YA1554), targeting CRM1, with a predicted molecular weight of 123 kDa (observed band size: 110 kDa). CRM1 Antibody (YA1554) can be used for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC experiment in human, mouse, rat background.

CRM1 mediates the nuclear export of cellular proteins containing a leucine-rich nuclear export signal (NES) and RNAs. In the nucleus, it cooperatively binds to the NES of target proteins and the GTPase RAN in its active GTP-bound form (Ran-GTP) in association with RANBP3. This complex docks to the nuclear pore complex (NPC) via interaction with nucleoporins. Upon translocation into the cytoplasm, the complex disassembles, and Ran-GTP is hydrolyzed to Ran-GDP (triggered by RANBP1 and RANGAP1), leading to cargo release. The directionality of nuclear export is attributed to the asymmetric distribution of Ran-GTP and Ran-GDP between the cytoplasm and nucleus. CRM1 also facilitates the transport of U3 snoRNA from Cajal bodies to nucleoli and binds to TMG-capped late precursor U3 snoRNA. Additionally, (by microbial infection) it mediates the export of unspliced or incompletely spliced viral RNAs (e.g., from HIV-1, HTLV-1, and influenza A) and interacts with HIV-1 Rev and HTLV-1 Rex proteins to promote their nuclear export, while also contributing to HTLV-1 Rex multimerization.

  Flow cytometric analysis of 1X10^6 Hela cells labeling CRM1 Antibody (YA1554) (HY-P81809, red). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 90% methanol. Then stained with the primary antibody at 1/50 dilution for an hour at 4℃. Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HY-P8002) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at 4℃. Rabbit IgG Isotype Control (HY-P80879, blue) was used as the isotype control, cells without incubation with primary antibody were used as the unlabeled control (black).
