Calreticulin Antibody (YA3926) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to CALR. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human, mouse, rat.

CALR is a calcium-binding chaperone that promotes protein folding, oligomeric assembly, and quality control in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) via the calreticulin/calnexin cycle. This lectin interacts transiently with nearly all monoglucosylated glycoproteins synthesized in the ER. It interacts with the DNA-binding domain of NR3C1 and mediates its nuclear export. It is involved in maternal gene expression regulation and may participate in oocyte maturation by regulating calcium homeostasis (by similarity). Present in the cortical granules of non-activated oocytes, it is exocytosed during the cortical reaction upon oocyte activation and might contribute to the block to polyspermy (by similarity).
