ACTL8 Antibody (YA5963) is a rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to ACTL8. It can be applicated for WB, FC, IP assays, in the background of human.

ACTL8 (Actin-like protein 8), a Cancer/Testis Antigen (CTA), is highly expressed in malignancies (e.g., oral squamous cell carcinoma, lung adenocarcinoma, endometrial cancer) but restricted in normal tissues. Its overexpression correlates with advanced tumor status (e.g., T-stage) and poor prognosis (by similar: aberrantly expressed in glioblastoma). Functional studies demonstrate that ACTL8 knockdown suppresses OSCC cell proliferation/migration, induces cell cycle arrest and apoptosis, likely via downregulating key cell-cycle proteins (CDK1, cyclin E1, cyclin B2, c-Myc). These findings suggest ACTL8 as a potential therapeutic target and prognostic biomarker for OSCC.
