ABCG1 Antibody (YA1841) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to ABCG1.

ABCG1 catalyzes the efflux of phospholipids such as sphingomyelin, cholesterol and its oxygenated derivatives like 7beta-hydroxycholesterol, and this transport is coupled to the hydrolysis of ATP; its lipid efflux is ALB-dependent; it is an active component of the macrophage lipid export complex, could also be involved in intracellular lipid transport processes, and its role in cellular lipid homeostasis may not be limited to macrophages; it prevents cell death by transporting cytotoxic 7beta-hydroxycholesterol.

  Western blot analysis of extracts from Hela(lane 2(20ug) and Hela(lane 3(40ug) using ABCG1 Antibody (HY-P82096) Rabbit mAb. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/1000) and Loading control antibody (Beta Actin, HY-P80438, 1/10000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Mouse/Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1/10000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
