Anti-Mouse Ly-6G/Ly-6C Antibody (RB6-8C5) (20 μg, i.p., 12 h prior to induction of meningitis and thereafter every 24 h with a total of three injections) exhausts neutrophils and monocytes and exacerbates infections in C57BL/6 mice infected with Escherichia coli strain K1[1].
Anti-Mouse Ly-6G/Ly-6C Antibody (RB6-8C5) (500 μg, i.p., once every 4 days) leads to an increase in tumor volume in female RAG1−/− mice bearing GL26-gal11 tumors[2].

Animal Model: 3×103-5.5×103 CFU of Escherichia coli strain K1 injected C57BL/6 mice (2-3 months, 20-30 g)[1]
Dosage: 20 μg
Administration: Intraperitoneal injection (i.p.), 12 h prior to induction of meningitis and thereafter every 24 h with a total of three injections
Result: Significantly increased the mortality rate of mice and increased the bacterial load in the brain and spleen.
