In Vivo

Anti-Mouse IFN gamma Antibody (R4-6A2) (0.5 mg, i.p., 1 day before each infection, for 3 doses) significantly increases total IgE levels in female BALB/c mice infected with nymphs^[2].

Animal Model:	15 nymphs or 50 larvae injected female BALB/c mice (8-12 weeks)^[2]
Dosage:	0.5 mg
Administration:	Intraperitoneal injection (i.p.), 1 day before each infection, for 3 doses
Result:	Significantly increased serum total IgE levels. Had no significant effect on the attachment rate and satiety weight of ticks.
