Description

Androgen receptor-IN-7 is a potent androgen receptor (AR) inhibitor with binding affinity of -9.0 kcal/mol. Androgen receptor-IN-7 exhibits potent anticancer activity against PC-3 cells (IC50 =370.37 nM) and LNCaP cells via both AR-dependent and AR-independent pathways. Androgen receptor-IN-7 induces ROS production in PC-3 cells. Androgen receptor-IN-7 can be used for prostate cancer research[1].

In Vitro

Androgen receptor-IN-7 (MS14) (0-300 nM, 24 h) induces a dose-dependent increase of ROS levels in PC-3 cells, resulting in an increase in relative ROS levels of 19.8% at 150 nM and 49% at 300 nM compared to the control[1].
Androgen receptor-IN-7 (150-300 nM, 24 h) reduces androgen receptor expression in PC-3 cells in a dose-dependent manner[1].
Androgen receptor-IN-7 strongly binds to the androgen receptor pocket, stabilized by key hydrogen bond interactions with Arg752 and Gln711[1].
Androgen receptor-IN-7 (0-1000 nM, 24 h) exhibits dose-dependent antiproliferative effects in LNCaP cells (achieving 78.2 % inhibition at 1000 nM), indicating that it retains significant activity in an AR-positive model, acting through both AR-dependent and AR-independent pathways[1].
