STAT3-IN-47 is an orally active STAT3 inhibitor. STAT3-IN-47 exhibits broad-spectrum anti-tumor activity against HeLa, HepG2, U87, and LN229 cells. STAT3-IN-47 suppresses STAT3 activation in vitro. STAT3-IN-47 can be used for the study of solid tumors, especially central nervous system (CNS) malignancies and hepatocellular carcinoma[1].

In Vitro

STAT3-IN-47 (Compound S1) (0.1-10 μM) exhibits broad-spectrum anti-tumor activity against HeLa, HepG2, U87, and LN229 cells, with IC50 values of 5.066 μM, 0.8089 μM, 1.970 μM, and 1.412 μM respectively[1].
STAT3-IN-47 (0.1-10 μM) suppresses STAT3 activation in a dose-dependent manner in HeLa, HepG2, U87, and LN229 cells[1].
STAT3-IN-47 (0.5-2 μM) inhibits EGF-induced STAT3 phosphorylation (Y705) in HeLa cells and dose-dependently suppresses IL-6-induced STAT3 phosphorylation (Y705) in HepG2, U87, LN229 cells[1].
STAT3-IN-47 downregulates stemness-associated genes (Nanog, Oct4, β-catenin) in Huh7, LN229, and HepG2 cells[1].
