Description

STAT3-IN-44 is a potent STAT3 inhibitor with IC50s of 1.84 (C6 cells) and 4.81 μM (A549 cells). In Vitro

STAT3-IN-44 (Compound 18q) (10 μM, 24-48 h) significantly induces the proportion of apoptotic C6 cells through the STAT3-Bcl-2/Caspase-3 pathway[1].
STAT3-IN-44 (2.5-10 μM, 10 days) almost completely inhibits colony formation at a concentration of 10 μM in C6 cells[1].
STAT3-IN-44 (10 μM, 24 h) significantly inhibits the migration of C6 cells[1].
STAT3-IN-44 (50 μM, 37-70°C) significantly enhances the thermal stability of STAT3 in C6 cells[1].

Apoptosis Analysis[1]

Result: Revealed distinct apoptotic features, including chromatin condensation and apoptotic body formation.
Significantly increased the number of apoptotic cells and late apoptotic cells.

Western Blot Analysis[1]

Incubation Time: 48 h
Result: Reduced the phosphorylation of STAT3, while the total STAT3 was almost unchanged.
Downregulated the expression of Bcl-2 and upregulated cleaved Caspase-3.
