Reactive Oxygen Species ERK PI3K TNF Receptor Atg8/LC3 p62 Apoptosis Necroptosis Autophagy Fungal Cardiovascular Disease Neurological Disease Cancer
Citronellol ((±)-Citronellol) is an orally active inducer of apoptosis. Citronellol can prevent oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and apoptosis in the SH-SY5Y cell Parkinson's disease model induced by 6-OHDA by regulating the ROS-NO, MAPK/ERK, and PI3K/Akt signaling pathways. Citronellol can induce necroptosis in human lung cancer cells through the TNF-α pathway and accumulation of ROS. Citronellol can reduce the levels of LC-3 and p62 to regulate the autophagy pathway, inhibit oxidative stress and neuroinflammation, and thus have neuroprotective effects on Parkinson's rats. Citronellol exhibits anti-fungal activity against Trichophyton rubrum by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis .

    J2

    HSP Cancer
HSP27 inhibitor J2 (J2) is a HSP27 inhibitor, which significantly induces abnormal HSP27 dimer formation and inhibits a production of HSP27 giant polymers, thereby having an effect of inhibiting a chaperone function of the HSP27 and reducing a cell protection function thereof. HSP27 inhibitor J2 (J2) remarkably enhances the antiproliferative activity of 17-AAG and sensitizes cisplatin-induced lung cancer cell growth inhibition .

    Diethyl maleate
    1 Publications Verification

    Maleic acid diethyl ester

    Biochemical Assay Reagents Others
Diethyl maleate (DEM) is an orally available, effective glutathione (GSH) depletor that crosses the blood-brain barrier. Diethyl maleate covalently binds irreversibly to GSH via glutathione S-transferase with an in vitro IC50 of 0.1-0.5 mM. Diethyl maleate selectively depletes GSH in liver, lung, and brain tissues, exacerbating oxidative stress and enhancing hyperbaric oxygen toxicity. Diethyl maleate promotes precursor amino acid uptake and in turn promotes GSH synthesis by upregulating the activity of the cystine-glutamate transporter XO -. Diethyl maleate can be used to study redox homeostasis and GSH protection mechanisms in oxidative stress-related diseases such as hyperbaric oxygen injury and metabolic diseases[1][2][3].

    Phosphodiesterase (PDE) Inflammation/Immunology
ATX inhibitor 15 (compound 30), a indole-based carbamate derivative, is a potent autotaxin (ATX) inhibitor with an IC50 of 2.17 nM. ATX inhibitor 15 inhibits in vivo ATX and the gene expression of pro-fibrotic factors. ATX inhibitor 15 has lung protection effects in Bleomycin challenged mice lung fibrosis model .

Reactive Oxygen Species ERK PI3K TNF Receptor Atg8/LC3 p62 Apoptosis Necroptosis Autophagy Fungal Cardiovascular Disease Neurological Disease Cancer
Citronellol (Standard) is the analytical standard of Citronellol. Citronellol (Standard) is an orally active inducer of apoptosis. Citronellol (Standard) can prevent oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and apoptosis in the SH-SY5Y cell Parkinson's disease model induced by 6-OHDA by regulating the ROS-NO, MAPK/ERK, and PI3K/Akt signaling pathways.
