IL-10R alpha Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, His)

IL-10R alpha Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, His) is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived IL-10R alpha protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-His labeled tag.

IL-10R alpha is a cell surface receptor for the cytokine IL-10, participating in IL-10-mediated anti-inflammatory functions to limit excessive tissue disruption caused by inflammation. Upon binding to IL-10, it induces a conformational change in IL10RB, enabling IL10RB to also bind IL-10. The resulting heterotetrameric complex, composed of two IL10RA and IL10RB subunits, activates the kinases JAK1 and TYK2, which are constitutively associated with IL10RA and IL10RB, respectively. These kinases phosphorylate specific tyrosine residues in the intracellular domain of IL10RA, leading to the recruitment and phosphorylation of STAT3. Phosphorylated STAT3 homodimerizes, translocates to the nucleus, and activates the expression of anti-inflammatory genes. Additionally, IL10RA-mediated STAT3 activation inhibits starvation-induced autophagy (by similar).
