Description

GPR15L Protein, Human (His, Myc) is the recombinant human-derived GPR15L protein, expressed by E. coli, with N-10*His & C-Myc tag.

Background

GPR15L is a highly cationic multifunctional protein. It acts as a chemotactic factor mediating lymphocyte recruitment to epithelia through binding and activation of the G-protein coupled receptor GPR15. This protein may function as a tumor suppressor, exhibiting growth inhibitory effects on colon cancer cells in conjunction with SUSD2, including induction of G1 cell cycle arrest. GPR15L potentially regulates keratinocyte proliferation. Additionally, by activating Mas-related G protein-coupled receptors (MRGPRs), it contributes to pruritogenesis through activation of itch-selective sensory neurons and mast cell degranulation. by similar: Studies also suggest its significant roles in immune modulation and sensory nerve regulation.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.

The reconstitution calculator equation

Volume (to add to vial) = Mass (in vial) ÷ Desired Reconstitution Concentration

Volume (to add to vial) = Mass (in vial) ÷ Desired Reconstitution Concentration
= ÷

The dilution calculator equation

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)

This equation is commonly abbreviated as: C1V1 = C2V2

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)
× = ×
C1   V1   C2   V2

The specific activity calculator equation

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)
Unit/mg = 106 ÷ ng/mL
