Description

OT-7100 is an orally active analgesic agent. OT-7100 inhibits hyperalgesia possibly by enhancing adenosinergic neurotransmission in the dorsal horn. OT-7100 can be used for the researches of inflammation, neurological and metabolic disease such as diabetes[1]2].

In Vitro

OT-7100 (0.3-3 μM) enhances the inhibitory effect of Adenosine (HY-B0228) on the contraction of guinea pig ileum[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

In Vivo

OT-7100 (3-30 mg/kg, p.o.) inhibits the mechanical nociceptive threshold in the injured paw in the Chung rats models[1].
OT-7100 (10-100 mg/kg, p.o., daily for 21 days) increases the nociceptive threshold in diabetic rats[2].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
