Lemzoparlimab is a highly diferentiated red blood cells (RBCs)-sparing CD47 antibody with unique epitope. Lemzoparlimab binds to the CD47 antigen, blocks the CD47-SIRPα signaling pathway, thereby enhancing the phagocytosis against tumor cells of macrophages. Lemzoparlimab minimizes binding to normal RBCs, thereby reducing hemagglutination that may be caused by some CD47 mAbs[2].
