IC50 & Target[3]

Human Endogenous Metabolite

In Vivo

Calcium phytate (20 g/kg; feed administration; 8 days) has a mitigating effect in a mouse model of lead poisoning[2].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Animal Model: Female MF1 mice (16 g) were fed diets with lead acetate[2]
Dosage: 20 g/kg
Administration: Feed administration; 8 days
Result: Significantly reduced weight loss, lead accumulation in the liver and kidneys.
Reversed the toxic effects of lead on liver and kidney weights caused by 1 g/kg lead acetate in the diet.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
