WTAP Antibody (YA4276) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to WTAP. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human, mouse, rat, rabbit, monkey.

WTAP, as an integral component of the WMM complex, plays a crucial role in mediating N6-methyladenosine (m6A) methylation of RNAs, a modification pivotal for mRNA splicing efficiency and RNA processing. It facilitates the accumulation of METTL3 and METTL14 to nuclear speckles and acts as an mRNA splicing regulator. Moreover, WTAP functions in regulating the G2/M cell-cycle transition by binding to the 3' UTR of CCNA2, enhancing its stability. Additionally, WTAP has been implicated in impairing the DNA-binding ability of WT1 and suppressing the expression of WT1 target genes. Within the WMM complex, WTAP is part of the MACOM subcomplex, alongside other essential components such as ZC3H13, CBLL1/HAKAI, VIRMA, and, in certain instances, RBM15 (RBM15 or RBM15B). It also participates in the WTAP complex, a MACOM-like complex, where it interacts with various proteins including ZC3H13, CBLL1, VIRMA, RBM15, BCLAF1, and THRAP3.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded rat testis tissue using WTAP Antibody. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 2 minutes. The tissues were blocked in QuickBlock for 20 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody at 1/100 dilution in 4℃ overnight. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
