VEGFD Antibody (YA2385) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to VEGFD.

The protein encoded by The related gene is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor/vascular endothelial growth factor (PDGF/VEGF) family and is active in angiorelated genesis, lymphangiorelated genesis, and endothelial cell growth. The secreted protein undergoes a complex proteolytic maturation, related generating multiple processed forms which bind and activate VEGFR-2 and VEGFR-3 receptors. The protein is structurally and functionally similar to vascular endothelial growth factor C. Read-through transcription has been observed between The locus and the upstream PIR (related geneID 8544) locus.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse testis tissue using VEGFD Antibody. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 8 minutes. The tissues were blocked in QuickBlock for 20 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody at 1/100 dilution in 4℃ overnight. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
