Description	UFD1L Antibody (YA4409) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG2b antibody, targeting to UFD1L. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	UFD1L is an essential component of the ubiquitin-dependent proteolytic pathway that degrades ubiquitin fusion proteins. The ternary complex comprising UFD1, VCP, and NPLOC4 binds ubiquitinated proteins and facilitates the export of misfolded proteins from the ER to the cytoplasm for proteasomal degradation. This complex also regulates spindle disassembly at the end of mitosis and is necessary for forming a closed nuclear envelope (By similarity). Additionally, UFD1L acts as a negative regulator of type I interferon production via the VCP-NPLOC4 complex, which binds RIGI and recruits RNF125 to promote RIGI ubiquitination and degradation.
