TIRAP Antibody (YA2589) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to TIRAP.
Background

The innate immune system recognizes microbial pathogens through Toll-like receptors (TLRs), which identify pathogen-associated molecular patterns. Different TLRs recognize different pathogen-associated molecular patterns and all TLRs have a Toll-interleukin 1 receptor (TIR) domain, which is responsible for signal transduction. The protein encoded by The related gene is a TIR adaptor protein involved in the TLR4 signaling pathway of the immune system. It activates NF-kappa-B, MAPK1, MAPK3 and JNK, which then results in cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. Alternative splicing of The related gene results in several transcript variants; however, not all variants have been fully described.

  • Western blot analysis of extracts from HUVEC (lane 2(20μg)), THP-1+TPA (lane 3(20μg)), 293T (lane 4(20μg)),and Hela (lane 5(20μg)) using TIRAP Rabbit mAb. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/1000) and Loading control antibody (beta Actin, HY-P83730, 1/5000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit/Mouse IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1/10000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
