Description	Osteopontin Antibody (YA3743) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to SPP1. It can be applicated for IHC-P, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	Osteopontin is a major non-collagenous bone protein that binds tightly to hydroxyapatite and appears to form an integral part of the mineralized matrix. It is likely important in cell-matrix interactions. Additionally, Osteopontin acts as a cytokine involved in enhancing the production of interferon-gamma and interleukin-12 while reducing the production of interleukin-10, and it is essential in the pathway leading to type I immunity.
