SAE1 Antibody (YA1847)

SAE1 Antibody (YA1847) is a rabbit-derived non-conjugated IgG antibody (Clone NO.: YA1847), targeting SAE1, with a predicted molecular weight of 38 kDa (observed band size: 38 kDa). SAE1 Antibody (YA1847) can be used for WB, ICC/IF, IP, FC experiment in human, rat background.

Posttranslational modification of proteins by the addition of the small protein SUMO (see SUMO1; MIM 601912), or sumoylation, regulates protein structure and intracellular localization. SAE1 and UBA2 (MIM 613295) form a heterodimer that functions as a SUMO-activating enzyme for the sumoylation of proteins (Okuma et al., 1999 [PubMed 9920803]).

  Western blot analysis was performed on extracts from HeLa (lane 1, 20 μg), Jurkat (lane 2, 20 μg), K562 (lane 3, 20 μg), and A549 (lane 4, 20 μg) using SAE1 Rabbit mAb.Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non - fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight.The primary antibody (1:1000 dilution) and the loading control antibody (beta-Tubulin, HY-P80955, 1:5000 dilution) were incubated in 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 1 hour at 37°C.Goat Anti - Rabbit/Mouse IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (1:20000 dilution) was then applied for 40 minutes at 37°C.
