Rad21 Antibody (YA3546)

Rad21 Antibody (YA3546) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to RAD21. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human, rat, monkey.

RAD21 is a component of the cohesin complex, which mediates sister chromatid cohesion from DNA replication in S phase to chromosome segregation in mitosis, a process critical for accurate chromosome distribution, post-replicative DNA repair, and suppression of aberrant recombination in repetitive regions. The cohesin complex may also contribute to mitotic spindle pole assembly. During interphase, cohesins potentially regulate gene expression by binding to multiple genomic sites (By similarity). It likely modulates RUNX1 gene expression (Probable) and binds to repress the APOB gene promoter. Additionally, RAD21 might play a role in embryonic gut development, possibly via enteric neuron regulation (By similarity), and may promote apoptosis.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse testis tissue using RAD21 Antibody. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 2 minutes. The tissues were blocked in QuickBlock for 20 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody at 1/100 dilution in 4℃ overnight. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
