Description	HEC2/HEC Antibody (YA3506) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG2a antibody, targeting to NDC80. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	NDC80 acts as a component of the essential kinetochore-associated NDC80 complex, which is required for chromosome segregation and spindle checkpoint activity. It is necessary for kinetochore integrity and the organization of stable microtubule binding sites in the outer plate of the kinetochore. The NDC80 complex synergistically enhances the affinity of the SKA1 complex for microtubules and may allow tracking of depolymerizing microtubules. Additionally, it plays a role in chromosome congression and is essential for the end-on attachment of kinetochores to spindle microtubules. by similar: The complex is also involved in tracking depolymerizing microtubules.
