Description	NCOR1 Antibody (YA3556) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to NCOR1. It can be applicated for IHC-P, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	NCOR1 is a nuclear receptor corepressor that mediates transcriptional repression by certain nuclear receptors. It is part of a complex promoting histone deacetylation and the formation of repressive chromatin structures, potentially impeding access of basal transcription factors. NCOR1 contributes to the transcriptional repressor activity of BCL6 and is recruited by ZBTB7A to androgen response elements (AREs) on target genes, negatively regulating androgen receptor signaling and androgen-induced cell proliferation. Additionally, NCOR1 mediates NR1D1-dependent repression and circadian regulation of TSHB expression (by similar). The NCOR1-HDAC3 complex also regulates the circadian expression of the core clock gene ARTNL/BMAL1 and genes involved in lipid metabolism in the liver (by similar).
