Description	MEN1 Antibody (YA3486) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to MEN1. It can be applicated for IHC-P, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	MEN1 is an essential component of the MLL/SET1 histone methyltransferase (HMT) complex, which specifically methylates histone H3 at Lys-4 (H3K4). It functions as a transcriptional regulator, binding to the TERT promoter and repressing telomerase expression. MEN1 plays a role in TGFB1-mediated inhibition of cell proliferation, potentially regulating SMAD3 transcriptional activity. It represses JUND-mediated transcriptional activation at AP1 sites and that mediated by the NFKB subunit RELA, while positively regulating HOXC8 and HOXC6 gene expression. MEN1 may be involved in normal hematopoiesis through the activation of HOXA9 expression (by similar). Additionally, it may participate in DNA repair.
