The protein binds to DNA as either a homodimer, or a heterodimer with the related protein hepatocyte nuclear factor 1-alpha. The related gene has been shown to function in nephron development, and regulates development of the embryonic pancreas. Mutations in The related gene result in renal cysts and diabetes syndrome and noninsulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, and expression of The related gene is altered in some types of cancer.   Western blot analysis of extracts from Jurkat(lane 2(20ug) , HUVEC(lane 3(20ug)and HEK293(lane 4(20ug) using HNF 1 beta Antibody (HY-P81979) Rabbit mAb. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/1000) and Loading control antibody (Beta Actin, HY-P80438, 1/10000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Mouse/Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1/10000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
