FGF2: The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members bind heparin and possess broad mitogenic and angiogenic activities. This protein has been implicated in diverse biological processes, such as limb and nervous system development, wound healing, and tumor growth. The mRNA for this gene contains multiple polyadenylation sites, and is alternatively translated from non-AUG (CUG) and AUG initiation codons, resulting in five different isoforms with distinct properties. The CUG-initiated isoforms are localized in the nucleus and are responsible for the intracrine effect, whereas, the AUG-initiated form is mostly cytosolic and is responsible for the paracrine and autocrine effects of this FGF.   Western blot analysis of extracts from Hela (lane 2(20μg) , K562 (lane 3(20μg) , and HEK293T (lane 4(20μg)using FGF2 (HY-P80671) Rabbit mAb. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% defatted milk powder in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (HY-P80671, 1/1000) and Loading control antibody (Beta Actin, HY-P80438, 1/3000) was used in 5% defatted milk powder in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Mouse/Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (HY-P8004/HY-P8001, 1/10,000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

  Flow cytometric analysis of 1X10^6 Jurkat cells labeling FGF2 Antibody(HY-P80671, red). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 90% methanol. Then stained with the primary antibody at 1/50 dilution for an hour at 4℃. Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HY-P8002) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at 4℃. Rabbit IgG Isotype Control (HY-P80879, blue) was used as the isotype control, cells without incubation with primary antibody were used as the unlabeled control (black).
