Description	EZH1 Antibody (YA4400) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to EZH1. It can be applicated for WB, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	EZH1 is a Polycomb group (PcG) protein and the catalytic subunit of the PRC2/EED-EZH1 complex, which methylates 'Lys-27' of histone H3, leading to transcriptional repression of target genes. It can mono-, di-, and trimethylate 'Lys-27' of histone H3 to form H3K27me1, H3K27me2, and H3K27me3, respectively. EZH1 is required for embryonic stem cell derivation and self-renewal, indicating its role in maintaining embryonic stem cell identity. Compared to EZH2-containing complexes, EZH1 is less abundant in embryonic stem cells, exhibits weaker methyltransferase activity, and plays a less critical role in forming H3K27me3, which is essential for embryonic stem cell identity and proper differentiation.
