Description	Elongation factor 2 Antibody (YA962) is a Mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG2b monoclonal antibody, targeting to Elongation factor 2.
Background	EEF2 is a protein that catalyzes the GTP-dependent ribosomal translocation step during translation elongation. In this step, the ribosome transitions from the pre-translocational (PRE) to the post-translocational (POST) state as the newly formed A-site-bound peptidyl-tRNA and P-site-bound deacylated tRNA move to the P and E sites, respectively. EEF2 also facilitates the coordinated movement of the two tRNA molecules, the mRNA, and conformational changes in the ribosome.
