EHD1 Antibody (YA1970) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to EHD1.

EHD1 is an ATP- and membrane-binding protein that regulates membrane reorganization/tubulation through ATP hydrolysis. In vitro, it induces vesiculation of endocytic membranes. This protein participates in early endocytic membrane fusion and membrane trafficking of recycling endosomes. Upon nerve growth factor stimulation, EHD1 is recruited to endosomal membranes and indirectly regulates neurite outgrowth (by similar). It also plays a role in myoblast fusion (by similar) and is involved in the unidirectional retrograde dendritic transport of endocytosed BACE1, as well as its efficient sorting to axons, suggesting a function in neuronal APP processing (by similar). During early ciliogenesis, EHD1 contributes to the formation of the ciliary vesicle (CV), potentially by recruiting the SNARE complex component SNAP29 to promote DAV fusion for CV assembly. It recruits transition zone proteins (e.g., CEP290, RPGRIP1L, TMEM67, and B9D2) and IFT20 after DAV reorganization, followed by Rab8-dependent ciliary membrane extension. EHD1 is essential for the loss of CCP110 from the mother centriole, a critical step in basal body maturation during ciliogenesis.

  Western blot analysis was performed on extracts from Hela (lane 1, 15 μg), HepG2 (lane 2, 15 μg), SK-OV-3 (lane 3, 15 μg), SW480 (lane 4, 15 μg), Mouse brain (lane 5, 15 μg), and Rat brain (lane 6, 15 μg) using EHD1 Rabbit mAb. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non - fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. The primary antibody (1:1000 dilution) and the loading control antibody (GAPDH, HY-P80137, 1:60000 dilution) were incubated in 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 1 hour at 37°C. Goat Anti - Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (1:20000 dilution) was then applied for 40 minutes at 37°C.
