GPCR RDC1/CXCR-7 Antibody (YA3907) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to CXCR7. It can be applicated for IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

Background

CXCR7 is an atypical chemokine receptor that regulates chemokine levels and localization through high-affinity binding, uncoupled from classical ligand-driven signal transduction. Instead, it mediates chemokine sequestration, degradation, or transcytosis. Also known as an interceptor (internalizing receptor), chemokine-scavenging receptor, or decoy receptor, CXCR7 binds CXCL11 and CXCL12/SDF1 without activating G-protein signaling but recruits β-arrestin, leading to ligand internalization and MAPK pathway activation. It modulates CXCR4 protein levels in migrating interneurons to adjust chemokine responsiveness. In glioma cells, CXCR7 signals via the MEK/ERK pathway, conferring apoptosis resistance and promoting cell growth/survival. It also regulates CXCR4-mediated integrin activation by CXCL12 and is essential for heart valve development and oculomotor axon guidance. By similar function: During microbial infection, CXCR7 serves as a coreceptor with CXCR4 for a limited subset of HIV strains.
