Description

CD191 Antibody (YA3957) is a Mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 monoclonal antibody, targeting to CD191.

Background

CD191 is a chemokine receptor that plays a crucial role in regulating immune cell migration, inflammation, and immune responses. It recruits immune cells such as monocytes, macrophages, T-cells, and dendritic cells to sites of inflammation for pathogen clearance and tissue repair. Upon activation by ligands including CCL3, CCL5-9, CCL13-16, and CCL23, it triggers intracellular signaling cascades that direct cell migration toward the chemokine source. For example, it mediates neutrophil migration after CCL3 activation, accompanied by the release of TNF-alpha and leukotriene B4 (by similar). Additionally, it facilitates monocyte migration upon CXCL4 binding, while CCL5 activation induces neuroinflammation via the ERK1/2 signaling pathway (by similar).

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
