CD155 Antibody (YA1485) is a rabbit-derived non-conjugated IgG antibody (Clone NO.: YA1485), targeting CD155. CD155 Antibody (YA1485) can be used for FC, ELISA experiment in human background.

CD155 mediates NK cell adhesion and triggers NK cell effector functions by binding to two different NK cell receptors, CD96 and CD226. These interactions accumulate at the cell-cell contact site, leading to the formation of a mature immunological synapse between NK cells and target cells, which may trigger adhesion, secretion of lytic granules and IFN-gamma, and activation of NK cell cytotoxicity. CD155 may also promote NK cell-target cell modular exchange and PVR transfer to NK cells, a process particularly significant in tumor cells expressing high levels of PVR, potentially inducing fratricidal NK cell activation as a tumor immunoevasion mechanism. Additionally, CD155 plays a role in tumor cell invasion and migration. In microbial infections, CD155 acts as a receptor for poliovirus, facilitating axonal transport via interaction with DYNLT1 to target virus-containing vesicles to the microtubular network for retrograde transport. It also serves as a receptor for Pseudorabies virus. Upon Human cytomegalovirus (HHV-5) infection, CD155 is prevented from reaching the cell surface, likely to evade immune recognition by NK cells.
