Background

Cardiac Troponin C is a critical component of the cardiac troponin complex, serving as the central regulatory protein for striated muscle contraction. The complex comprises three subunits: Tn-I (inhibitor of actomyosin ATPase activity), Tn-T (containing the tropomyosin-binding site), and Tn-C.
